Nokia launches colour Java phones

Nokia launched a range of new phones at CeBIT, including the Nokia 3410, 6310i and 7210, all with Java. Business Wire writes that the Nokia 3410 “is the company’s first mass-market product open for independent software developers to offer Java applications to consumers.” Forbidden Technologies already has a Java implementation of its codec at various image sizes.
