Image overlays
Image overlays allows editors using FORscene to mark their video with watermarks, company logos or to insert any other image sitting over the video. Although commonly images sit in the bottom right hand corner of a video, image overlays allow FORscene editors the freedom to place images anywhere over their video.
To use image overlays, firstly an image must be uploaded with a transparency background in a PNG format. Once uploaded into your FORscene acccount you can select the image overlay track by clicking on the 'Tracks Button', this is found on the far right hand side of the 'Red' record timeline. Select overlay to toggle the track on or off. Once the track is toggled on it will appear on your timeline and you can drag your image on to the track.
Like all other tracks on the 'Red' record timeline, the image can be trimmed and moved around by using right click and dragging. Image overlays also has the option to fade from black or fade to black, similar to the video track this can be done by moving the cursor to the top corner of the track until the cursor changes to a cross, then click and drag inwards to create the fade.
