Publishing

FORscene has various publishing options for complete or part-complete videos.

Web Publishing icon

FORscene Web Publishing

FORscene web publishes your video and hosts it on the Internet. To publish a video, firstly, right click on the web publishing button and this will bring up the publish settings in a seperate window. Here you can adjust the settings that include the pixel resolution (4x3 or 16x9), the cropping of video and whether published videos should start playing when fully loaded or start paused.

Once these options have been decided the video needs to be left clicked and dragged from the folder to the web publishing icon. To open the web publishing folder, click on the icon. This will give you a list of files that are 'Queued', 'Compressing' or 'Published'. Once a file has been published it is then ready to be viewed. Opening up the web export folder shows a list of all the files that have been published. To view a video, double click on the file and it will open in a seperate window. The page contains the video, the URL to view the video on it's own which can be e-mailed to friends / clients. It includes the HTML code so that the video can be inserted into a website, whilst still being streamed by FORscene. The data rate information is also displayed where relevant.
