Editing

Load a video into the "Play" window. Mark in and out points using the and buttons to select a clip.

Play to Record

Once a clip is selected, you can drag it from the "Play" window into the "Record" window by dragging the video frame displayed in the "Play" window into the "Record" window. This inserts the selected clip at the current position in the "Record" window.

Create and Trim edit points

The button on the timeline title bar creates a new edit point on the selected tracks.

You can trim edit points on the timeline by moving the mouse to the edit point and dragging it around. Only selected tracks are trimmed. You can select tracks by clicking on the and icons on the right hand side.

Slip and slide trimming is available on the record timeline. You can drag clips with the left mouse button to keep the same source material, but have it appear at a different time in the edited video. Holding down shift and dragging will change the source material without changing its time in the record window.
