Uploading JPEG slides into FORscene

To upload slides / images you already have on your computer, use this section.

1. Select the Slide Capture tab, as shown below.

2. Source files - Click the Browse button to select the file(s) you wish to upload.
3. Upload Directory - The name that you type here will be the directory name within the slides directory in your FORscene account.
4. Start Upload- this starts the slide upload into FORscene.
• The content being uploaded is shown in the preview pane.
• The progress bar indicates what stage you are at.
• Start Upload toggles to Stop Upload when you click it.
5. Stop Upload - this terminates the upload.
• The most recent slide to be processed will be the last to upload into FORscene.
6. When the upload has finished, a window will pop up as below. Click OK.

Notes:

• Upload Progress - the figure to the right of the progress bar tells you how many slides have been uploaded from the total.
• FORscene Load Pro captures in real time but the upload speed is dependent on your Internet connection speed. A standard ADSL broadband connection has 256Kbps upload speed - videos might take 8 times real time to upload.
• You can upload as many jpegs as you want at once.
• You cannot switch to another tab whilst a slide upload is in progress.
