Leading UK post house uses Forbidden Technologies tools

Forbidden Technologies today announced that blue post production, one of the top UK post houses, is providing FORscene to its client Dragonfly productions, part of the Shine Group, for the BBC Three production Kill It, Cook It, Eat It, which will air everyday from 5 - 9 January at 10:30pm. The third series of the show looks at the process of getting wild game from the field to the fork and follows nine contributors as they go on their journey to find out what's involved in the preparation of wild game for their dinner.

FORscene's frame-accurate logging tools have the ability to access rushes, and make shot selections wide-area through a web-browser. This enables all members of the production team to work on the content during location shooting.

blue uses FORscene Load to digitise simultaneously rushes shot across the UK into both FORscene and Editshare. Loggers for Dragonfly productions use FORscene to log the content remotely. This allows executive producers and directors to make shot selections and rough cut editing before exporting from FORscene to auto-conform for online editing in Avid. Drafts from Avid are then uploaded and reviewed wide-area in FORscene. blue's Kevin Boyle mixed the audio using Pro Tools.
