Recent press

Forbidden’s recent announcements have been noticed in the press with the Telegraph reporting on the t1ps option exercise, Business Financial News Wire and Digital Look reporting on the loan repayment, and an ibtimes report entitled: Forbidden Technologies grants option to RSV. Directors’ purchases which included the Chairman’s £72,000 share puchase also attracted attention from Hargreaves Lansdown, bullbearings and BusinessFinancialNewsWire, with a mention in the print edition of the Times.

Directors’ share purchase

Two of Forbidden’s directors have bought Forbidden shares. Chairman Vic Steel has bought 450,000 and Finance Director Phil Madden has bought 75,000.

Option agreement

Following the complete exercise of the option over 2,500,000 shares it granted last year, Forbidden Technologies has agreed a further option. This option, over a further 500,000 shares, has an exercise price of 24p per share.

Forbidden has announced the repayment of the loan from Chairman, Vic Steel. As a primarily equity funded business, Forbidden currently has no interest bearing loans.

Watch folders

Moving video files on to an industry standard storage device (as for a non-FORscene workflow) can trigger a FORscene Server to ingest the content automatically, at the rate of up to 100 hours per day, for logging and rough cut editing in FORscene. EDL export allows finishing on conventional editing systems.

Since the launch of FORscene Server last September, almost all customers now use this for ingest in preference to the older FORscene Load. The recent series of upgrades to the GUI have simplified use and improved integration with other professional systems.

They also quote from the AGM statement: "Consistent with our strategy of partnership development we are at an advanced stage of discussion with a number of large international systems integrators. Option exercise

Forbidden today announced that SF t1ps has exercised options over a further 55,000 shares. SF t1ps retains a time-limited option to subscribe for a further 1,200,000 shares.

The influential blog The Rise to the Top has published an online video guide.
