AIM Conference

Dating in the Dark

Endemol has adopted FORscene for their reality TV series ‘Dating in the Dark’. Their FORscene configuration includes two product upgrades launched in the run up to IBC - SDI input and FORscene Server - both of which have become standard amongst FORscene customers.

Mac upgrade

FORscene Load Mac v1.8.23 further reduces internet traffic. As well as caching internet videos and making videos in the upload queue remotely accessible, the software provides full speed access over the local area network to videos uploaded from a local machine.

The growing group of Facilities Houses adding FORscene to their services has been joined by Clear Cut Pictures. The Endemol production ‘Can You Bank On Me?’ was broadcast on BBC1.

Forbidden’s business is concentrated in two large, evolving markets: broadcast post-production is an established market looking for efficiency gains such as those provided by FORscene; and on the Web, companies need good video content to feed the growing appetite for Web advertising. The UK is the first major market where the Web has overtaken television in ad revenue.
