Mac upgrade
Release 1.7.6 of
FORscene Load
Mac has just been released.
The main improvment over 1.6.12 is that you can now capture DV video files on the Mac through the firewire port
without the need for any other Mac software - and then upload it through FORscene Load Mac's sophisticated queuing system.
Wed 10th Dec, 2008
New server infrastructure
A new FORscene distributed server design has entered testing
after nine months of development. Servers
plugged in anywhere in the world are organically incorporated into the
global system as it continues to run; if any server is unplugged,
the remaining servers compensate by automatically redistributing
their data and serving capacity.
Thu 4th Dec, 2008
Windows upgrade
FORscene Load PC
v5.9 is available. It has the more efficient upload pioneered on the FORscene Linux boxes,
and is the first version to work with Vista.
Mon 1st Dec, 2008
Staff addition
Forbidden would like to welcome Paul back. During a short stint in the run up to Christmas,
Paul will be working on
FORscene Load Mac
and other Apple related products.
