IVCA
Forbidden is hosting another event, this time supported by the International Visual Communication Association (IVCA). The demonstration and discussion, which is on Thursday 16th June, is entitled: "Harnessing the Power of the Internet to Increase Production Values". The latest and most powerful versions of FORscene will be on show.

Epsom Go Tournament
Forbidden is sponsoring the Epsom Go Tournament 2005. Most of our technical staff are prize winning Go players.

FORscene upgrade
The new features in the latest FORscene include Autosave and more editing functionality. In addition, Forbidden's professional FORscene users can now publish web video faster than real time with our FORlive web codec, increasing throughput considerably.

Joint dinner
On Wednesday 8th June, Forbidden is co-hosting a dinner at Claridge's to promote FORscene in the professional market. We are being joined for the first time by our partner NATS Post Production. With over 40 suites in the heart of Soho, NATS one of the UK's leading facilities.

Recent press
IVCA Update, the IVCA newsletter for leaders in business communication, reports: "IVCA member Forbidden Technologies develops and markets products for video post production and publishing over the internet and mobiles." They talk about how GMTV's correspondents are using FORscene to watch GMTV live, or browse later, from anywhere in the world, on a PC or Mac, via a standard web browser.

Recent press
The AIM Bulletin entitles its latest Forbidden report: "Patience still as Forbidden signs up TV deals". It continues: "Investors have needed to be patient with Forbidden Technologies which floated when its video streaming software development was in its very early stages. The software is now in a saleable form and it has started to pick up fans".

FORupload upgrade
FORupload now allows you to upload AVI files directly into FORscene. FORupload is provided free to consumers as a courtesy.

Security and Surveillance
Forbidden's FORlive product has received a further boost by the release of a software upgrade which can, in real time, digitize and compress four live streams simultaneously. This upgrade significantly reduces the cost of FORlive hardware where large numbers of cameras are being used, such as in the surveillance market.

Shareholder Offer

MyGard
Forbidden's security software, which runs on a silent and elegant black box, is in test now. MyGard, which already distributes its own products through B&Q, is Forbidden's first official partner in this market.
