FORlive update

Forbidden's public live video streaming demonstration has run continuously round the clock for over four weeks, confirming its stability. Today we stopped the system briefly to install an upgrade. Broadband and modem frame rates are up by 10-20% and the new midband option often achieves full frame rate. We have reduced the Java player memory by 40MB. Picture quality improvements are most evident during the day time, when our £99 security camera works best.

Website anniversary

Today is the first anniversary of our latest website design. We are pleased to say that the number of hits has more than tripled compared with a year earlier. Over the last year we have transformed our product range, with the introduction of broadband options, numerous features on our Java player, Symbian mobile phone players, Linux compressor systems and FORlive. We will be bringing the website up to date in the coming weeks to reflect the latest advances in our product range.
