Cantos' birthday
Cantos Communications are
celebrating
their second birthday with a video email compressed
with Forbidden's system. Reflecting their client base, this can be viewed over midband or broadband using
datarate sensing. Those viewers with modems can see
the video without pausing by letting it play through once first.

ADVFN website uses Forbidden
Cantos Communications are promoting their
services on the ADVFN website using Forbidden's technology. ADVFN recently
announced: "[We have] maintained the number one spot for stocks and shares Web sites, first achieved
last year". Our banner ad format
features a 10KB player which is quicker to download than many web page images. Both the player and the 25 frames per second video
cache, thus minimising server load. Clicking on the
banner ad will take you straight to
the Cantos website.

Analysts presentation
Our latest video shows the
slides and commentary given by our Business Development Director, Greg Hirst,
at the analysts presentation following our full year results for 2002. This demonstrates a number of the
features available using Forbidden's technology.
Features included are: Automatic
bandwidth detection, Slideshows, Chapterization, Graphic at start up, Pause points, and Preroll,
as well as high framerate, high quality video.

New datarate sensing feature
We released our first
datarate sensing
product last month. This has now been enhanced (as demonstrated in our home page video) by the addition
of a new feature: available bandwidth will automatically be used to increase data intensity. The job
of web designers is simplified as video quality is improved within the same picture size.
