Train

Train services from London's Waterloo Station to Wimbledon are frequent. The journey takes 12 - 15 minutes. Many services stop at Wimbledon. Look at the departure boards for information.

Thameslink / First Capital Connect

This runs between Bedford and Brighton, crossing London. The web link shows you the full route and timetable.

Tube

The District Line comes to Wimbledon. It will take a little longer than the overground train - about 20 minutes. You may have to change at Earl's Court to get on the right spur of the District Line. The web link shows you the London Underground map.

Tram

The Croydon Tramlink connects between Wimbledon, Croydon, and Beckenham. Trams run every 10 to 20 minutes, and take about 20 minutes from Croydon. This web link goes directly to a map of the tram system.

Car

From North
Take the A3 to Tibbet's Corner. Alternatively turn off the South Circular at the crossroads at Putney train station and take the A219 southwards towards Wimbledon.

At Tibbet's Corner roundabout, take the A219 towards Wimbledon. Go past Wimbledon Common, on your right, into Wimbledon Village. Go straight over two mini-roundabouts and follow the road down Wimbledon Hill.

Take the first major turning on the right, Worple Road, (before the crossroads and before Ely's on your right). At the roundabout, turn left into St George's Road and follow the road round. Public parking is available on your right.

From South
From the M25, leave at junction 10 and take the A3 north. Follow the A3 northwards towards Wimbledon until you go over a large bridge with two lanes on each side. Take the first exit over the bridge, signed Wimbledon A298.

Follow the road, then take the first major turning left onto the A238 Kingston Road just before the BP garage on your right. Take the first turning on your right, Lower Downs Road. Go under the bridge and turn right at the T-junction at the end of the road into Worple Road.

At the roundabout, turn right into St. George's Road. Public parking is available on your right.
