Forbidden Technologies was created to encourage freedom in today's broadcasting and production industry: the freedom for professionals to collaborate on edits across the globe; the freedom to review and approve content from anywhere, anytime; and the freedom to liberate workflows from the constraints imposed by legacy systems.

History

Founded by Stephen Streater in 1998, Forbidden Technologies is based on a 18-year heritage in video and broadcast technologies.

In February 2000, Forbidden listed on the AIM stock exchange.

FORscene, Forbidden's flagship product is the world's most advanced web-based video editing system. Simple enough for producers and directors, yet responsive enough for editors, FORscene enables professionals to collaborate on video project anytime, anywhere. FORscene now has over 1,000 registered users internationally.
