IBC Television News, the broadcaster for the IBC 2009 exhibition in September, is using FORscene HD
to syndicate news footage. Available through a web browser, material can be re-purposed for
broadcast and website videos during and after the exhibition.
A FORscene Server based in Amsterdam provides immediate access to material
shot on JVC’s GY-HM100 and GY-HM700 cameras.
Participating broadcasters and IBC visitors can upload additional contributions
under editorial control, creating a library of material including
rushes and delivered daily programmes.
|
Browse quality material is uploaded into FORscene, where built-in moderation tools
through a range of access levels enable users to search metadata attached to
material.
Using FORscene’s frame accurate editing tools, selections can be made and autoconformed.
High definition versions of the edited stories are automatically uploaded to the FORscene Cloud Servers
- this takes a few minutes using IBC’s modern Internet connections.
The full HD quality edited media is then available
for broadcasters to download from anywhere in the world.
|
Auto-conform of HD material in FORscene is supported from the following cameras:
- Sony XDCAM-EX
- Sony XDCAM-HD
- Panasonic P2
- DVCPRO HD
- JVC GY-HM100 / HM700
