Broadcast Buyer
reports on the FORscene pilot by North One Television:
"The leading independent production house is using Forbidden's FORscene to ingest, log and review video content for the upcoming Vet on the Loose programme".
It quotes Cari Rosen, series editor:
"FORscene's web-based platform has allowed the team to look at rushes from any location, on any broadband-enabled computer.
The convenience this has afforded us, as well as the time-savings the team has experienced so far, are key factors in the decision
to adopt this technology for the rest of the series".
It also quotes Nick Barrett, operations and finance manager at North One:
"The pilot has progressed well and we have been impressed with FORscene's user-friendly interface,
the flexibility it allows the team, and the unique web-based proposition".

Perhaps most important, many customers are eager for the shift,
as theyre frustrated by the traditional cycle of buying a software license,
paying for a maintenance contract, and then having to go through time-consuming and expensive upgrades".
The FORscene video platform is delivered over the web as a software service.
