"Editing on the web - a revolution in film making" in Simply-communicate.com describes the future for professional video editing. The article concludes: "Streater gave a presentation organised by the IVCA to what became an increasing gob smacked group of producers, directors and editors. One was heard to say afterwards, "This is the classical example of a disruptive technology," - and did he have a point. "Trust Me - I'm a Holiday Rep - A logging miracle!", reports the IVCA newsletter. Jo Manser, Head of Post Production at Nats is quoted: "During the logging phase, up to 20 individuals were simultaneously working on rushes via their PC's at Granada ... Whilst the loggers were logging, the directors were simultaneously viewing the logged material, mapping out their programmes prior to editing. Compared to the length of time and inconvenience of conventional logging solutions, this is an incredible leap forward".
