Following the success of IBC this year, Forbidden was delighted to be one of only a handful
of exhibitors to be invited to the exclusive celebratory dinner hosted by the Mayor of Amsterdam.

Interoperability
"The Interoperability
Centre",
hosted by the Professional MPEG Forum, has, for the duration of
IBC2003,
a demonstration of Forbidden's
new
FORlive
technology. A joint system built by
Snell & Wilcox
and Forbidden converts standard
MXF
videos on-the-fly into Forbidden's format so they can be viewed at full frame rate in a
standard web browser. On the stand itself, the web pages (and video) are served to a laptop over
WiFi.

Forbidden has formed a partnership
with Morogo Films.
Morogo Films
was set up in March 2003 and is a film maker which targets the corporate and
development sectors.

Compressor update
We have just upgraded our beta test compression systems.
The latest version can compress much higher quality audio.
We are also completing a Graphical User Interface in
response to demand for a system aimed at non-experts.

Live update
The Forbidden Live video streaming codec now has a Java player.
SiteSeer Japan has joined the alpha test programme by streaming
Forbidden's video over the internet in a standard Japanese web browser.
The video is captured live and streams at full frame rate
with 376x280 pixels. Forbidden will be launching FORlive at
IBC2003.
